Skin Glow

We all know how much uniform skin provides us with security and self-esteem. However, even today, even with all the treatments available on the market, many women still suffer from acne stains, small scars, oiliness and many other “problems” that compromise day by day.

There is nothing better than looking in the mirror and enjoying what is being reflected and this is absolutely possible nowadays because with technological advances in the beauty segment, many treatments really provide us with the desired result and one of these treatments is Skin Glow.

What is Skin Glow?

Skin Glow is an intensive skin treatment that uses first-rate laser technology to penetrate the deeper layers of the skin. This laser penetration stimulates the natural production of collagen, in addition to offering a multitude of other benefits.

Stimulating collagen production can improve the appearance and texture of your skin and decrease the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles quickly, safely and affordably.

What is collagen?

Collagen is a natural protein found throughout the body and helps to give structure, elasticity and vitality to your skin.

Unfortunately, with age, your body produces less collagen, which in turn leads to wrinkles and loss of skin elasticity and firmness.

Before After

How is the treatment done?

First of all, the professional will clean your skin and then Light Peel is applied. After Light Peel, a peptide serum is injected into your skin through microneedling to nourish and moisturize it evenly. The type of Light Peel and the serum that will be used is customized according to the conditions and needs of your skin. Light Peel helps in more even distribution of the pigment, while the vitamin-infused serum improves the skin’s lightness and smoothness.

Like the serum, the pigment is distributed under the skin by microneedling. This specific technique helps to encourage the skin to regenerate and produce more collagen, leaving the skin smoother. Microneedling is also an excellent treatment to reduce wrinkles and scars, so that the treatment really improves the quality of the skin.

Who has rosacea can make Skin Glow?

This is a controversial subject. On the one hand, the professionals claim that Rosacea would be one of the indications of the procedure, which can really disguise the redness of the face, making the skin color uniform. On the other hand, those who have rosacea have the most sensitive skin that is most prone to allergic reactions. It is impossible to know beforehand how the skin will react. For those who have more severe rosacea and even those who have mild redness, the ideal is to first do it in a very small area of the skin to assess the response before doing the complete treatment.

How long does it last?

You will see results immediately, but the serum will continue to work for two weeks after treatment.

Many clients repeat the treatment two or three times to increase its effectiveness.

After the end of treatment, treatment results can last up to four months.

What improvements can I expect?

• Reduction of pigmentation of spots;
• Reduction of melasmas;
• Reduction of acne scars;
• Reduction of wrinkles;
• Decreased pore width;
• Reduction of sagging;
• Smoothing expression lines.

Is it a tattoo?

People often confuse this with a tattoo, but the ingredients are not made from tattoo ink, but micropigments, combined with vitamins and plant extracts, in addition to an “epidermal growth factor” that helps to speed up the healing of the skin.

Does Skin Glow treatment hurt?

Skin Glow treatment does not cause discomfort in your procedure because the layer of skin that is affected by microneedling is only the epidermis, therefore, there are no nerve endings.

Another important observation is that the Skin Glow treatment also does not cause any type of bleeding, as the epidermis does not have blood vessels.

What to do after treatment?

During the first 2 weeks, avoid prolonged exposure to the sun. Your skin will be a little more sensitive to UV rays. So use high-factor sunscreen every 2 hours.

Pay attention to other heat sources in the first 48 hours. This includes saunas, aerobic exercises, hot tubs, hot showers and hairdryers.

After the procedure, do not wet the skin for the first 24 hours. Do not wash your face or use makeup or moisturizers during this time.

Makeup can be used the next day, as long as it is moderate. Do not wear heavy makeup for the first 3 days.

Avoid swimming for at least 1 week after Skin Glow treatment. The pool water contains many microbes that will penetrate the skin if all of its micro-traumas are not fully healed.

Do not rub the skin of the face with rough soap, exfoliating or heavy skin products for 1 week.

Do not eat spicy foods and seafood for the first 3 days after the procedure. Make a simple skin care regimen, avoiding acids.

It is also recommended to stop taking vitamin C in the weeks following treatment.

A patient may experience temporary redness after treatment but should not wash their face or apply makeup for 24 hours.

The Skin Glow pigment does not clog the pores, as the particles are fine and will be easily absorbed by the skin. This is because the pigment is placed under the skin, while makeup usually clogs the pores because it is above the skin – decreasing the skin’s ability to release dead skin cells.

Heavy sun protection is recommended for the first week, as new skin cells are formed, due to the rejuvenating effects of microneedling.
