Which part of the face defines your expression well and gives a cleaner or loaded look? The eyebrows!
They can increase or decrease your age, frame your face and are the best way to communicate your emotions. So it is important to take care of them in the best way possible.
Tinting adds fullness and defines a shape for any type of eyebrow. We use a gentle vegetable-based tint, which is very safe on hair and skin and comes in 6 different shades. It colors brows and the underlying skin for up to 4 weeks.
What is eyebrow tint?
Eyebrow tint is the process of applying semi-permanent dye to enhance, shape and define your eyebrows.
You can temporarily dye your eyebrows in a painless and natural way so that they are shaped every morning, without the need for pencils or powders. It is also a great way to test a shape before you commit to dermo pigmentation, for example.
The process creates depth and fullness in the area, visually filling in any flaws or low hair intensity.
How long does the session take?
An average session takes just 15 minutes. The client will first consult a specialist to discuss how natural she wants her eyebrows to look.
Then, the specialist will prepare the area, cleaning the eyebrows and applying a thin layer of petroleum jelly around them to avoid accidental spots on the skin. The dye is then mixed and applied carefully, first in the direction of hair growth and then a second coat is applied in the opposite direction. The dye is left for a few minutes to obtain the ideal color and after that, the excess is removed with a damp paper towel.
Does it work on all skin and eyebrow types?
Eyebrow tint works on all skin types, skin tones and hair colors.
In gray or white hair, the process is a little longer, as they are more resistant and tend to be stubborn, which requires some adjustments by the specialist.
What do I need to do before the tint?
The cleaner the skin, the better the dyeing can penetrate and last.
By exfoliating the skin near the eyebrows, dead skin cells are removed and the dye can do its job better. Therefore, it is useful to do this process before submitting your eyebrows to this dyeing process.
Choosing the right products is also essential to avoid allergic reactions to the dye.
The Lash Studio also provides special skin treatments and high quality products.
What do I need to do after eyebrow tint?
You should avoid wetting your eyebrows for 12 hours after the treatment is complete and clean the area with gel or cream cleansers.
Avoid exfoliating or using any oil-based product in this area, as this will cause the tone to fade more quickly.
Is the eyebrow tint lasting?
Usually the dye acts for seven to fourteen days. Time depends on several factors. The durability may be less on oily skin or with excessive use of makeup. Facial cleansing products, such as micellar water and biphasic make-up remover, also reduce dyeing time.
A piece of advice to make the most of your eyebrows with the dye is to clean and wet them as little as possible.
